There needs to be an office attached to the GAO or directly to DOD that assigns a case-worker that will act as the servicemember’s ombudsman/shepherd from before a medical evaluation board package is assembled all the way through the Veteran’s Administration and Social Security (yes, we make disabled vets file for Social Security, clogging up that system because the majority of vets are not eligible for concurrent medical retirement and VA disability)
